A
space where it can be found in the same place different times/states, and
where these moments could be influenced by the existence of those instants
when we walk iluminated. Iluminated by those moments by themselves and for
the reflection on the present that they made when we remember them. The proyect
"To evoke light" is about how our memories, both the immediate and
the lasting, create a present moment. It guesses about what will happen to
us when we left the exhibition room. It invites us to participate in the decision
on what to remember and how to make the relationship between different memories.
In the same way, this kind of networks form a society. A net in which we use
the memory to identify, to recognize ourselves or identify, to recognize the
others. “To evoke light” makes us remember the moments when we
first perceive this visible thing that is the first visible animal thing from
the invisible world, as Lezama Lima tells us in his poetry. The animal named
light.
